The Sardine Run
South Africa hosts one of the last great natural spectacles — the Sardine Run. Each winter, billions of sardines gather into vast, shimmering shoals, moving like a single living storm. This migration draws the ocean's apex predators into a wild feeding frenzy: sharks strike, dolphins herd, whales lunge, and seabirds dive from above.
